Michael H. Landis

Mr. Landis has been practicing law in the Philadelphia area and surrounding counties since 1983.

Mr. Landis was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was raised in Bermuda where he attended Warwick Academy, the oldest secondary school in the western hemisphere. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dickinson College in 1978 and his Juris Doctor Degree from Temple University in 1983. While at Temple, he completed an internship with the Honorable Clarence Newcomer of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, Mr. Landis practiced law at Smolow & Landis for 27 years where he was a name partner. In 2010, he opened the Law Office of Michael H. Landis.

Mr. Landis is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Landis is a past president and member of the Board of Trustees of Temple Judea of Bucks County. He serves as a volunteer juror for the National Moot Court Competition and volunteers regularly at a local food pantry. He has lived in Bucks County, Pennsylvania since 1980 with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Jordan and Alex.

Patricia H. Klein

Patricia H. Klein has worked with Mr. Landis since 1983, providing valuable assistance with the administration and management of a busy and growing legal practice. She is responsible for scheduling, preliminary research, initial document preparation and other paralegal tasks. She is always ready to help meet the needs of clients with a warm and a welcoming manner.

Ms. Klein received her Associate of Arts Degree in 1978 from Bucks County Community College, where she studied legal administration. She has worked in the legal profession for 35 years. She lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania where she enjoys gardening, fitness and exercise and classic cars. She has a unique love for animals and her utmost enjoyment comes from spending time with her family and four dogs.
